General Weekly Schedule - Fall 2007

School begins at 8:45. 
Children may arrive as early as 8:30.
After school care is offered on-site by pre-arrangement only. This is a private pay program from 2:30-5:00 Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Rotating special enrichment programs are offered on Monday’s from 2:30-4:30 as well. Children need to be picked up promptly at 2:30 if they are not enrolled in after school care or special programs.

Academics: Part of the Education For Life model we use insures integration of all academic subjects throughout the day.  Students are given ample time for each academic subject area according to grade level. Although our days are structured with lesson plans, the teaching model at WFLS is more fluid and flexible that allows for spontaneous learning without a rigid agenda. Schedules may vary for each age level through out the week and are subject to change to best fit the needs, interests and collective energy of each class.
